MAPEKER MAPESTIK Ready mixed tile adhesive for internal wall tiling with most ceramic wall tiles and mosaics. Non-slip and high grab.
Suitable for domestic kitchens and bathrooms.
COVERAGE: approx. 2-3 kg/m2.
Mapestik is a D1T class adhesive and is available in 15 kg buckets.
WHERE TO USE
Bonding of all types of porous bodied ceramic and mosaic tiles up to 300 mm x 300 mm in size on to interior walls.
Some application examples
Installation of ceramic and mosaic tiles over:
- gypsum plaster and gypsum block walls;
- gypsum backerboard;
- cement-based renders and cured reinforced concrete walls;
- tile backer boards
RECOMMENDATIONS
- Use only for internal applications.
- Dispersion adhesives are not suitable for applications in continuous immersion in water (swimming pools, fountains, etc.).
- Contact Mapei Technical Department for recommendations for fixing to other substrate materials.
- Do not use Mapestik to install porcelain tiles or natural stone, especially light coloured calcareous stone (e.g. Carrara marble).
- Do not use Mapestik on metal substrates.
