*Extended Delivery Area Surcharges defined by courier may be applied before the order is dispatched to extended and remote areas (examples Argyll and Bute, Scottish Highlands).

We strongly advise that you do not book any installers until your goods have arrived and have been checked.

Delivery times are given as a guideline. The Company will not under any circumstances entertain any financial demands from the customer for late or incorrect delivery. We always recommend that you never book a tiler or other workmen until the goods have been delivered and inspected.

We are not liable for any knock on costs, consequential loss or compensation in any circumstances.

Notification of any damaged goods should be made within 48 hours via email with photos showing the damage and the number of tiles damaged.

Mainland UK deliveries only.

We are unable to ship outside the UK or to islands. We are not able to ship to Northern Ireland.

DELIVERIES

Our fast and secure delivery service is available across the whole of the mainland UK. We offer a book in delivery service which takes 2-5 working days to arrive.

We strongly advise that you do not book any installers until your goods have arrived and have been checked.

The book in service is for customers to choose a suitable date which allows them to organise help if needed due to the size and weight of the orders (a pallet order can be anything between 25-1000kg)

Stock Tile orders over £500 are entitled to FREE delivery

Deliveries will arrive on a goods wagon with a tail-lift and pump truck, you will be able to inform us of any restrictions at the cart page (special instructions box). If there is no access for a HGV lorry pleases report this as there may be an additional cost for booking a small van.

Goods will be shrink-wrapped on one or more pallets. Delivery will be made, at the driver’s discretion, to the nearest flat hard standing to the property; usually kerbside.

The delivery driver cannot help handle the goods or move the goods into the property/outbuilding, therefore it is essential someone is present to receive the order.

The pallet(s) cannot be delivered on to pebble, shingle or uneven surfaces.

Please note - Vehicles are unable to drive onto private driveways.

ACCESS ISSUES FOR LARGE PALLET DELIVERIES

Low hanging trees and bridges.

Narrow roads, gateways, cars on either side of the road.

No turning point for the delivery vehicle.

Unfinished tracks and roads.

Lack of solid and flat surface to unload.

Gravel driveways.

We will endeavour to deliver at the agreed time however, we cannot guarantee delivery dates & times as these may be effected by circumstances outside our control. For this reason we are unable to accept responsibility for lost working time and therefore recommend goods are ordered well in advance of any project start dates.

If we are unable to gain access to the agreed delivery address we will make contact with you to re-arrange delivery where re-delivery charges will apply.

Tiles will be shrink wrapped on a wooden pallet and delivered to the ground level edge of your property. The customer will be responsible for disposal of the wooden pallet once it has been delivered and will not be collected by the delivery company. The delivery driver cannot take away packaging or any empty pallets. Once unloaded the goods are the responsibility of the site team.

If you intend to return any part of your order we recommend keeping the delivery pallet until the job is complete. If you wish Palletways to collect they require the tiles to be secured to a euro pallet when collecting and will not supply one for free. 

When placing your order, please provide wherever possible, a mobile telephone number. We may be able to advise you delivery information, direct to you, by SMS text messaging or email and this will improve the level of service we are able to provide to you.

    • When you select a Standard delivery service, the delivery company will contact you to arrange a delivery date convenient for yourself (unless the customer has specified a delivery date in the special instructions).

Please note

  • That a signature will be required on the day of delivery.
  • If no one is available to take collection of the pallet on delivery then the pallet will be returned and any further deliveries will incur a second charge.
  • Delivery times are between 8am and 6pm.
  • We cannot deliver to islands or overseas.
  • Deliveries will not be made on Bank Holidays.
  • Working days are classed as Monday to Friday.
  • All tile orders over £500 are entitled to FREE delivery.

STANDARD DELIVERY

Stock tiles

If the value of your order is over £500, delivery is FREE! Orders under £500 will be charged at a standard rate for your postcode starting from £44 (including VAT). Please note special order items are separate services and will include their own delivery rates. 

SAMPLES

We offer a maximum of 3 different tile samples for free. Tile samples are an approximately 15x15cm cut of the original tile and are intended to give you an idea of the print, quality and finish of the tile. All samples are delivered by a postal service. To order a sample, just visit the product page of the tile you would like and click the free sample button. You can then proceed through the checkout to provide your delivery details and confirm your order.

If you request more than 3 sample tiles you will be charged a postage and packaging rate.

Returns

We hope you will love your new tiles. However, we understand from time-to-time that there may be a reason to return a product or you may have a delivery issue. Please follow our guidelines below to make your returns as quick and seamless as possible.

Quick Overview:

  • If you notice any shortages or damages then please let us know via email (hello@tile.co.uk) within 48 working hours of receipt. Please include photographic evidence.
  • Delivery of incorrect products must be notified via email within 48 working hours of receipt.
  • Any items must be returned in full boxes where applicable.
  • Bespoke products, special-order products & Outlet/EOL products are exempt from cancellation or returns policies.
  • All returns must be pre-authorised by Tile.co.uk and will require a returns number, which can be sought via emailing us on: hello@tile.co.uk
  • Refunds will exclude delivery charges.
  • Returns for standard stock items will be accepted up to 28 days following delivery/collection of goods.

Goods Arrived Damaged or Incorrect Items Received

Whilst we make every effort to package our stone and tiles to ensure they are protected, if your products arrive with a customer damaged or the incorrect products arrive, then we will take responsibility and send replacements as long as they are not installed.

Please ensure that shortages and damages are reported with photographic evidence via email: hello@tile.co.uk within 48 hours of delivery.

Change Of Mind Or Over Ordered

We know that sometimes customers simply change their minds or may have over ordered. We are happy to accept returns on this basis so long as goods are returned to us in a resealable condition within the 28 day return timeframe.

Refunding payment

Any refunds will be issued back to the original payment method.

Please also note:

  • We only accept full boxes of tiles for refund if sold by the box.
  • Items needs to be carefully packaged when returned to us as damage of these fragile items can happen in transit and will not be the responsibility of Tile.co.uk.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange a return to Tile.co.uk via their own preferred delivery method.
  • Returns can take up to 10 working days to process through our warehouse.

For all returns please contact us first via hello@tile.co.uk and we will issue a returns number. Any returns received not following this process may be refused.
