Planning tips
Always include wastage Add at least 10% for cuts around edges and doorways, and keep 5% spare in case of future repairs — especially for discontinued ranges.
Diagonal laying patterns If laying tiles at a 45° angle, increase wastage to 15% as you’ll have more cuts along every wall.
Tile sizes and floor area Larger tiles (60cm+) suit bigger rooms and create a more seamless look. Smaller tiles give you more grout lines, which can help with grip in wet areas.
