Etching is achieved through sandblasting, which enhances the slip-resistance of the stone surface while providing a subtle, muted appearance that is especially suitable for harder stones used in outdoor settings such as pool surrounds. Etched limestone has a refined and polished aesthetic overall.

Once your limestone is installed it needs sealing BEFORE and AFTER grouting with Ca Pietra Stain Block Eco or Stain Block.

Non slip floor tiles

Even more advantageous is Wychwood etched finish. While slightly bleaching the surface to give a sun-kissed look, this finish also has low slip properties, giving this limestone an outdoor tiles edge. 

This is a frost-proof tile would be great as utility room flooring or conservatory flooring because it doesn't mind the possible below zero temperatures. Frost-proof tiles have a water absorption rate of less than 0.5% meaning they are ideal for such conditions and the outdoors. Tiles which are not frost-proof may absorb water which would freeze at zero and below, causing the tile to crack.
