The Premtool Straight Edge Polished Silver Aluminium Tile Trim gives a sleek, high-shine finish to exposed tile edges on walls and floors. The slim 2.5mm face keeps the profile minimal and discreet. A transparent easy-peel protective film is applied to each length to prevent scratching during installation. At 2.5m per length, the polished aluminium construction is significantly more durable than PVC.

How to fit & cut aluminium tile trim
Cutting to length

Measure and mark. Always measure twice.
Leave the protective film on until installation is complete.

Cut with a fine-tooth mitre saw or metal-cutting blade.
Do not use a standard wood saw blade.

For external corners, mitre each piece at 45°.

Deburr any cut edges with a fine metal file before fitting.
Fitting the trim

Dry-fit before applying adhesive. Trim depth should be 1.5–2.0mm greater than the tile.

Apply adhesive and bed the fixing tab firmly in. Press along the full length.

Bed tiles tightly against the trim. Keep the polished face clean.
Remove adhesive immediately with a damp cloth.
4
Grout the joint, then peel off the protective film.
Do not peel film before grouting.
