Take yourself to terracotta floor tiles heaven with this classic choice, sure to stun as kitchen floor tiles, hallway tiles and living room flooring, while emulating country cottage chic.

Brick effect tiles

But the rustic tiles appeal doesn't stop there; lay these crafted clay brick beauties in a herringbone tile pattern for a captivating creation. Complement with white grout and these lovelies with steal the brick effect floor tiles show.

Choose your finish

These clay floor tiles arrive unsealed, meaning you can choose the finish you want to fit your home. Partial to antique tiles? Or are natural stone effect tiles more your thing? No problem, just seal and and tailor your finish to suit.

Terracotta floor benefits

There's a big reason why this is one of the oldest architectural materials; durability. Made from natural clay and set in extreme temperatures, these terracotta tiles are incredibly hardwearing, (and so unlikely to chip) while also being low maintenance and easy to clean, once sealed.

Terracotta floor tiles are claimed to be the best flooring for underfloor heating. The porous nature of clay tiles allows heat to travel quickly and efficiently throughout your room and maintains heat long after your underfloor heating has turned off.

Another bonus is the colour; terracotta's earthy tones bring warmth and a 'homely' feel to wherever you lay them. Rich reds and burnt oranges easily complement cream wall tiles, beige wall tiles and many other wall tiles colour palettes, so you can enjoy the 'baked earth' charm for a lifetime.

Please note that while we take every effort to accurately display each tile, variations in screen resolution, lighting and different production batches may affect your viewing. We recommend requesting a FREE tile sample to help you purchase the right tile for your home or business.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What colours go with Ca’ Pietra terracotta tiles?

There are several colours that pair fantastically with Ca’ Pietra terracotta tiles.

Neutrals like white, cream, and beige are great for achieving a soft look, playing into the richness of the terracotta shades.

White creates a brighter and airier feel while cream and beige are more subtle and cohesive.

Use complementary earthy tones like brown and forest green for a warm, natural aesthetic while jewel tones like sapphire or emerald are bolder, statement options.

You can find out more about what colours pair well with terracotta tiles in our dedicated guide.

Where are Ca’ Pietra terracotta tiles made?

Despite an Italian name, Ca’ Pietra tiles are British-made, with the family-owned brand based in Devizes, Wiltshire.

Can you use wall adhesive on floor tiles?

You generally shouldn’t use wall adhesive for floor tiles.

Wall adhesives are designed for vertical surfaces and likely won’t be strong enough to withstand the horizontal pressure when someone walks across them.

You can browse our wide range of adhesives to find the ideal fit for your project.

How long does it take to deliver a Ca’ Pietra order?

Ca' Pietra products are delivered separately to Tile.co.uk stock items and have their own separate delivery charge and policy.

Orders in the UK are generally fulfilled by Ca’ Pietra within 4-5 days, though made-to-order items will have longer lead times.

Find out more about Ca' Pietra deliveries and returns.

    How are delivery charges calculated?

All delivery charges are based on the weight of the order and postcode.

A small box of tiles can weigh between 12-26kg, and the majority of orders will be a pallet delivery due to the weight.

Tiles are fragile by nature, so pallets are currently the safest way to transport heavy loads.

For Ca' Pietra orders over £399, we offer free delivery within England and Wales.
