R12/C Slip Resistance — suitable for wet barefoot areas including pool surrounds, changing rooms and walk-through showers Luna carries an R12/C slip rating with pendulum scores of 60 (dry) and 54 (wet) — one of the highest ratings in the Dorset Woolliscroft range. Barefoot classification C makes it suitable for pool surrounds, wet changing areas, and walk-through showers where barefoot traffic is expected. Luna's softly textured surface structure achieves exceptional slip resistance for both shod and barefoot traffic in dry and wet conditions — without the harsh profile of a heavily structured tile. Available in three colourways across two formats (148×148mm and 300×300mm), it is the go-to choice for commercial and leisure installations where wet barefoot safety is a requirement: swimming pool surrounds, spa changing rooms, walk-through showers, and public wet areas. All colours are fully vitrified, frost resistant, and suitable for internal and external use. Luna can also be used alongside Gritstone Aggregate and Textured tiles for added design versatility.

Not sure which fitting you need? Step Treads finish stair nosings — add a Step Tread Corner where two stair edges meet. Coving creates a hygienic coved skirting at the wall-to-floor junction, ideal for wet commercial environments. Round Edge (RE) finishes a single exposed tile edge; REX handles external corners. Adhesive, grout, and installation products for a complete job

Adhesive — required

S1 Flexible Tile Adhesive Fully vitrified porcelain tiles require a C2TE S1 flexible cement-based adhesive. For wet areas and pool surrounds a rapid-set S1 product is recommended to reduce installation time. We stock options from Mapei, UltraTileFix, Ardex, BAL and Kerakoll.

Grout — recommended

Kerakoll Fugabella Color 3kg CG2 WA hybrid resin-cement grout in 50 designer colours. Water-repellent, naturally antibacterial, and approved for swimming pools. Suitable for porcelain and commercial wet environments. Joint widths 0–20mm.

No sealing required. Fully vitrified porcelain tiles have a water absorption rate of less than 0.5% — the tiles themselves need no sealing or protective treatment. In wet commercial environments such as pool surrounds, grout joints should be sealed after the Fugabella has fully cured (24 hours minimum, 3 days before use in swimming pools).
