The Genesis TDP Aluminium Square Trim in Matt White is a clean, minimal profile that combines the bolder presence of a square edge with a white finish that blends naturally into light-coloured tile schemes. The 10mm square face gives it more visual weight than a straight edge trim — making it suitable as a tile edging on walls or floors, or as a decorative feature strip laid between tile rows. In matt white it sits quietly within pale and neutral schemes without the metallic contrast of a brass or silver trim. Made from AA 6063 T6 aluminium anodised to DIN 17611, with a 27mm fixing tab. Available in 10mm and 12mm depths, 2.5m lengths.

How to fit & cut aluminium tile trim
Cutting to length

Measure and mark the trim length required. Always measure twice before cutting.
The anodised surface is susceptible to scratching — handle carefully.

Cut with a fine-tooth mitre saw or metal-cutting blade.
Do not use a standard wood saw blade — use a dedicated metal or multi-material blade.

For external corners, mitre each piece at 45°.
On a white finish, any gap at a corner joint will be clearly visible.

Deburr any cut edges with a fine metal file before fitting.
Fitting the trim

Select the correct depth and dry-fit before applying adhesive.

Trowel adhesive and press the perforated fixing tab firmly into it.

Embed tiles flush with the top of the profile.
Remove adhesive and grout from the trim face immediately.
4
Fill the joint with grout. Wipe trim face before grout sets.
Use a matching white grout for the most seamless result.
